One of the most stressful aspects of selling your house is determining what is truly necessary to update/repair in a financially smart way and finding an agent you can trust to give you guidance. Amanda fit the bill perfectly. She was personable and communicative and was excellent at developing a sensible plan for getting our house ready for the market. As Amanda moved through our improvements, I was always invited to participate in selecting materials, but I trusted her judgment to select flooring, lighting, and enhancements that were stylish and affordable and created a cohesive look. In addition, Amanda has long-standing relationships with contractors in nearly every home-related area. I was always encouraged to get quotes from my own contractors, but ultimately, I ended up using the ones she recommended. Everyone was polite, professional and reasonable and it relieved any stress of wondering if they would do a good job. We had to move before our house was put on the market, but Amanda happily and efficiently managed all of our improvements while keeping us updated on the progress. She produced beautiful flyers and a home video which highlighted the special features of our house as well as the neighborhood. The house looked amazing when it went to market and we signed a contract within the first few days. I have to start from the beginning of my contact with Amanda Strawser. Our first meeting was a window into the type of realtor partner she would be. After hearing a little about my goals she chose to not only meet with me, but even before we signed a contractual agreement, she took me out to show me some things that she thought I would be interested in. Not only was this super proactive, it changed the entire trajectory of my investment strategy. Because of her forward thinking, I was able to do my own due diligence before our official search began to really clarify my goals.
Amanda is very knowledgeable about the Atlanta real estate market. As a native, she has seen the city evolve and stays very in tune with the market. This was extremely valuable as we progressed. We only went out to visit homes twice. I appreciated that during each home viewing she presented the pros and cons very fairly, asked all the right questions and posed the ones I wasn't thinking about. Once we found the one we thought was the best possible choice she went into action immediately. Due to her proactivity, I got a home that I thought I had no chance of securing.
